Services in the Laurelbrook Seventh-day Adventist Church on April 13, 2019 began with a song service led by the freshman class, accompanied by Jeremy Westcott on the piano. The opening song was “Jesus Loves Me”. Christopher (freshman) welcomed everyone and had prayer.
Yzzyme read a mission story from India. A foreman in a flour mill had recently become a Christian and made sure that all transactions were legal. A cart came to collect his family to take them to church. The horse was stubborn so the family didn’t go to church. It turned out that the foreman’s subordinates had decided to kill him, but the horse had saved them.
Yzzyme then called for the Laurelbrook Missions Offering, which was collected by Elieso (junior) and Asher (sophomore). Yzzyme and Maria (junior) then sang a duet for special music, accompanied by Yzzyme on her guitar.
Michael (junior) then had the theme talk and had closing prayer. Jeremy Westcott announced that all the students would met behind the glass for their Sabbath School class. Ruan Swanepoel taught the student Sabbath School class. Clayton Brandt taught the Sabbath School class in the church sanctuary.
Following are some notes on Michael’s talk:
