On Sabbath, Dcember 21, 2019, Laurelbrook’s Sabbath services began with a song service led by Ivana (sophomore), accompanied on the piano by Felix (senior). The opening song was “Faith is the Victory”.
Kelly (sophomore) welcomed everyone and had prayer and read the scripture reading – Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” \
Anika Parham told the Sabbath School members present about a mission story.
The Laurelbrook Missions Offering was collected. Anika Parham and Rebecca Nowdesha presented “Embrace the Cross” for special music. Anita Parkham had the theme talk and had the closing prayer. The congregation divided into two Sabbath School classes, a class in the main church sanctuary taught by James Brenneman and a student class “in the boys’ lobby” taught by Gerrie Varmaak.
