Services in the Laurelbrook Seventh-day Adventist Church on May 4, 2019 began with a song service led by Yzzynne (9th grader) and Kelly Ann (9th grader), accompanied by Jacqueline Miller on the piano. The opening song was “Give Me the Bible”. Rebecca Nowdesha welcomed everyone, Itzel (senior) read the scripture reading, and Rebecca Nowdesha had prayer.
Yzzyne (9th grader) read a mission story. Yzzyne then called for the Laurelbrook Missions Offering, which was collected by Gustavo and Luis (juniors).
Rebecca Nowdesha and her mother Sheila Cameron then had the theme talk, combining Bible texts with music. They illustrated how to put Bible texts to music. Sheila Cameron had closing prayer. Students met behind the glass for their Sabbath School class. Rich Sutton taught the student Sabbath School class. James Brenneman taught the Sabbath School class in the church sanctuary.
