On Sabbath, February 29, 2020, Laurelbrook’s Sabbath services began with a song service led by Miguel and Lindsey (juniors), accompanied on the piano by Felix (senior). Eldric (junior) announced the opening song - “God Will Take Care of You”. Eldric (junior) had prayer.
Miguell (junior) welcomed everyone. Itzel (junior) had prayer and read the scripture reading – Romans 8:31 “What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?”
Itzel (junior) read a mission story from the Adventist college in Spain. His mother received an offer for her house that she had been trying to sell plus a little extra so her son could witness during the summer instead of selling books.
Jordan (junior) and Itzel collected the Laurelbrook Missions Offering. This offering goes to support Laurelbrook mission trips. Yzzynne (junior) and Maria (senior), accompanied by Daniel (freshman) on the piano for special music.

The congregation broke up into groups of two or three to pray. Eldric then had the closing prayer.
The congregation divided into three Sabbath School classes - a class in the main church sanctuary taught by James Brenneman, a student class in the boys’ dorm lobby taught by Sergio Bellani, and a student class taught by Daphne (senior) and the girls dean “behind the glass” at the back of the church sanctuary.
